Learn a unique way to gain insights and perspectives about your life using a writing process that is called Intensive Journal® method. In our workshops, our certified instructor Nancy-Elizabeth Nimmich will guide you step-by-step through each exercise as you apply it to your life. Gain insights about the direction of your life, personal relationships, career/special interests, your body and health, and the history of your life. Learn how to use dreams and imagery as a way to develop your life. Connect with and deepen your connection to your faith and belief system.
You don't have to like to write nor be a good writer. Applying the writing exercises is simply the means by which we gain access to our thoughts and emotions and then learn how to work with them. You work in total privacy; you are not sharing your life with others, and no one comments on your life.
Our program has been offered for over 50 years throughout the United States, Canada and overseas. Many spiritual centers of various denominations have sponsored our program.
You may attend one, two or all three workshops- they must be taken in sequence. Commute or reside at Roslyn Center (single bedroom).

We conduct introductory sessions (1-2 hours) on the method where you can learn the basic principles of the method and experience sample exercises. Then, you can decide whether you would like to attend a full workshop. We hold these sessions at churches, counseling centers, and other organizations. If you would like to help us organize such a group, please contact Jon Progoff at 800-221-5844 or email@example.com.
Stay at Roslyn Retreat Center while attending this event at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Come explore food as a gift to be treasured, not a commodity to be consumed.
Join us November 27, December 3, 11 & 18 for prayer and creative reflection on the Advent gospel readings from the revised common lectionary. Bring your own supplies or use those available at Roslyn. We will meet in Powers Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Mondays in Advent.
Come enjoy the day with Bishop Goff and become co-creators with God!
No art experience is required. A wide variety of material, found objects and tools will be provided. If you have a stash of objects that you'd like to share - buttons, bottle caps, tin cans, dolls eyes, whatever - please bring them.
